As the weather drops in Los Angeles, Australian actress Teresa Palmer made sure she and her son Bodhi were nice and cosy during their breakfast date on Tuesday morning.

The Warm Bodies actress beamed with happiness as she exited Cafe Gratitude with her 11-month-old boy perched firmly on her hip.

Teresa, who married actor/director Mark Webber in Mexico in 2013, worked a stylish off-duty look in a khaki overcoat and grey skinny-leg jeans.

She accessorised her look with a chunky black beanie, a tanned leather satchel and pointed ankle boots.

Her wavy blonde locks were left out and flowing while cherubic Bodhi looked gorgeous in a bright red sweater, white trousers and dark trainers.

Bodhi, who turns one next month, contently nestled into his mother's shoulder during the outing. 

2015 is shaping up to be a busy year for the young mother, who has three films slated for release including Knight Of Cups, Point Break and Triple Nine. She’ll also be starring in romantic flick The Choice and thriller 2:22.

Somewhere in between her hectic filming schedule, she works alongside good pal and fellow actress Phoebe Tonkin on wellness website Your Zen Life.

Despite her blossoming career, the Adelaide local says motherhood is her main passion and priority.

‘He just is the most precious little blossom. He is so sweet and so happy and so chubby. Nothing can compare to it,’ the star explained of her son to entertainment website Popsugar.

She also admitted it has changed her perception of body image. ‘I look at myself in the mirror now and instead of looking at flaws I look at this woman, this mother, who is so nurturing and loving to her son,' she mused. 

Adding: ‘I look at myself through the eyes of my son, and that’s been such a healthy shift.’ 

Teresa recently took to Twitter in the lead up to Bodhi's first birthday, which will be on February 17. 'In one month my baby will be 1!! How crazy fast this year has gone!,' she wrote last week. 

Earlier this week she also reached out to her mother Paula Sanders to wish her a happy birthday.

'HAPPY 60th BIRTHDAY MUMMY! Like I wrote in your card, you are SUNSHINE and the definition of a selfless woman, always putting the needs of others before you. Thank you for teaching me the beauty in giving,' she wrote next to a touching photo of the pair.
